Then challenge of establishing a brand new Manufacturing facility is quite a task, especially in a location which is already saturated with blue chip FMCG brands. In 2017 Techniche were appointed as part of a select small supply chain to assist Cremer UK in staffing a new facility in Essex. The facility was still under construction as interviews were underway.
The scope of these requirements ranged from core FMCG skill sets such as Process Operators, Equipment Owners and Assembly Operatives. Through to more advocated engineering and scientific skills such as Control Systems and Maintenance Engineers, Lab Technicians, Quality Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers.
Over a 9 month period Techniche has supported Cremer with placing over 30 permanent staff members and also supplied a robust temporary & contractor work force of up to 20 personnel.
Techniche consultants worked as a team to implement the best candidate attraction strategy. Most of which was based around Passive Candidate Attraction, networking in the local area and a lot of high profile marketing of what a great opportunity joining this newly established manufacturing facility would be for any successful candidate.
Our approach also included regular site visits, and involvement in recruitment strategy meetings, assisting with open days, as well as on site inductions for temporary personnel.
