Techniche are working with a leading engineering firm who are seeking an experienced stores/facilities/maintenance engineer/manager for an Asset Management role based at a customer’s manufacturing site.
The role will be representing our engineering client, who manages the end customer’s asset support. This includes part spares, maintenance support, management of systems and assistance with plant upgrades etc.
Suitable candidates would ideally come from one of the following backgrounds:
-Stores Management / Coordination
-Maintenance Management / Coordination
-Maintenance / service/ support engineering
Having experience with:
-Managing stores/ stock levels of parts, spares etc.
-Understanding maintenance and PPM scheduling
-Appreciation for either/both mechanical &/or electrical engineering
-Manufacturing industry – products, FMCG, Food & Beverage etc.
Our client would also ideally like to see some commercial background or ability. i.e. understanding maintenance spend budgets.
Our client specialises in Automation, Electrical and Mechanical Control Systems. Experience in this area is not essential. They provide their customer with a range of engineering parts and services including:
-Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s)
-Motor Control Centres
-AC / DC power supplies
This role will:
-Be based on the customers site in Cardiff
-Pay a basic of up to £41k
-Have an additional bonus of up to 10% per annum
