Techniche have 2 long term contracts available for experience EC&I Engineers.

For this role it is essential that candidates have proven electrical power and distribution Building Service experience.

Role:

To work for the Senior Electrical Engineer delivering complex Electrical Design Solutions/ Packages

Experience Required & Duties:

Design of :-

  • Form 4 Type 7 Switchboards
  • LV Distribution Networks
  • Earthing Systems
  • LV Cable Calculations
  • Cabling Support Systems (Cable Support System, Sizing, Routing, Segregation etc)
  • 415v Motor Starter Circuits (DOL and VSD)
  • Switchboard Compartment Schematics
  • Small Power (Socket) and Lighting Distribution Design
  • Lighting Design

Production of all Specifications and Drawings to Support Manufacturer, Installation and Commissioning of packages.

Use of Amtech ProDesign.

Producing Designs using Autocad 2000 later.

Production of Technical File/ Operation and Maintenance Manuals

Brown Field Site Working

Production of Designer Risk Assessments

Ability to manage a team of electrical designers, providing direction and instruction in the production of Detailed Design Documentation packages.

Liaising with Clients and generation of design requirement specifications.

Experience of Working in a Multi-discipline team (Working with Safety, Mechanical, Process etc)

(Application) Can apply principles and/or learning to provide engineering solutions/ design packages for 415V Distribution from 11kV/415V substation through to 110V or 240V Final Feed Circuits.
