Field Sales Engineer South West
Our client is a measurement instrumentation manufacturer offering a wide ranging of flow and analytical products to industry. Due to ongoing growth they would like to hire: Field Sales Engineer South West and south Wales.
Firstly this role focuses on defining the scope of the market, the customers and the growth opportunities. We are seeking candidates who can maximise the existing customer base but also seek out new opportunities for growth. Increasing customer face time is essential not only for sales growth but also to build strong bonds with customers and to re-enforce brand strength. Familiarising yourself with the range of products available is essential to ensure customers are exposed to the entirety of the product range, and thereby improving sales potential. Understanding the benefits or any unique selling points is also key. Relationship building, in an honest and trustworthy manner is key to our client’s brand and ethos and will also help to solidify long term relationships and growth. The ability to understand competitors’ products and to identify our clients’ product or service benefits is also an important aspect. You would also be in regular touch with key account teams and with product marketing in a matrixed organisation, reporting progress on the CRM system as well as gradually developing strategic account plans.
We are looking for candidates with enthusiasm and passion for the industry as a whole and all the market sectors within it. We are open to candidates who are NOT currently in sales but may wish to move their career into sales. Its essential that you have some recent experience and knowledge with instrumentation (flow/analytical) and enjoy discussing product benefits and applications solutions. The locations covered in this role are South West regional and that includes: Dorset, South Wales, Devon and Cornwall. The salary package is competitive with a strong basic salary and a realistic 1st year OTE of £65k + car + benefits.
