Techniche are working with one of the UK’s largest and well established specialist equipment rental companies. They are seeking a Service Engineer who will maintain, service and repair their range of material handling and plant equipment.

You’ll have a flexible region covering and can be based across regions including Kent, Sussex and South London, which are all within a 2 hour radius of their Aylesford depot.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose any faults and identify correct solutions to rectify, ensuring that return visits are minimised.
• Various administrative processes to follow to include updating repair logs, defect sheets and service logs.

Requirements: 

• A mechanical or engineering background is essential
• Knowledge of plant equipment and repairs
• A recognised mechanical qualification in plant or agricultural engineering
• The ability to manage your own planned daily activities, keeping to agreed timescales whilst also producing a high standard of work
• A valid driving licence
