Interim Finance Coordinator

6-month temporary placement

32-40 hours per week (flexible depending on work load)

Office based Monday - Thursday

Core office hours –  4 day working week Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 with 1 hour lunch

Own Transport Required (no public transport links available)

 

Techniche are supporting a local Marine Manufacturing organisation with appointing an interim Finance Professional for a 6-month contract period. This role will be to support the business through a period of transition within the senior finance team.

The 6-month temporary role will support the company by ensuring the continuation of finance transactions in purchase ledger, sales ledger, and general accounting.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Process staff expenses
  • Managing accounts payable; data entry of invoices onto accounting software, reconciling statements, managing e-banking monthly and ad hoc payment runs, processing via Sage e- banking into NatWest Bankline.
  • Managing accounts receivable; raising invoices, monitoring aged debtors, and allocating incoming payments
  • Managing petty cash
  • Manage and allocate PDQ payments
  • Purchase ledger inputting and management of sales ledger for additional company entities

The applicant will have the following skills and experience:

  • Capable of independent, self-motivated working
  • Ideally, hold a recognised accounting qualification ACCA/CIMA/ACA of equivalent
  • Experience in Sage 50 accounting software including Ebanking
  • Experience in Xero accounting software
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
