Interiors Engineer - Cost Reduction 365/366

Working for a major automotive manufacturer in Bedford, the Interiors Engineer will be involved in design and development activities related to automotive interior / seat parts, with an emphasis on supplier management and achieving cost reduction targets

The roles are available on a 12 month contract basis with a starting rate of £24.68/hr plus £3.70/hr holiday accrual and overtime rates at time and half (salary equivalent ~£50,000).
 

Job Duration – 12 months rolling

39 core working hours Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-1.20pm

Pay Rate: £24.48/hour plus time and a half overtime after 39 hours at £36.72/hour. Salary equivalent £49-50,000 p/a

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Design / engineering qualification
  • CAD interrogation, financial analysis skills related to automotive interior / seat parts, time management skills
  • Previous automotive design and development experience
  • Prior knowledge of interior cabin parts / modules
  • Prior knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • UK driving licence and able to travel globally
