Lead Electrical Wireman

Techniche are supporting a Global Technology Engineering organisation with appointing a new Lead Electrical Wireman at their Technical Centre in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Responsibilities:

    • Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
    • Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
    • Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Role Requirements:

    • Compex trained preferable, or willing to get certification, (certification course funded).
    • Certified NVQ Level 3, 4,
    • Have completed an apprenticeship or recognised training.
    • Knowledge of IS, Armoured cabling and glands, fibre optics, ESD, Explosion proof equipment.
    • Experienced in Panel wiring, soldering, crimping and terminating cables, also 19” Rack assembly.
    • Experience in small and large cable forms and cable routing.
    • Fault finding systems and correcting system circuit diagrams.
    • Assist with new designs.
    • Capable of Electrical and Mechanical.
    • Ability to mount, fit, modify cable tray.
