Procurement Administrator x 2

Full-time office based Monday-Friday
6 months initially
£12-15 per hour PAYE (+ holiday pay + pension)

Techniche are working with a large Manufacturing organisation who are seeking 2 administrators that have procurement, supply chain or purchasing experience.

These roles will be assisting with a peak of work over an initial 6 month period. But may have the potential of offering permanent employment further in the future, or being extended beyond the 6 month term.

Experience required:
  • Administrative background in business operations
  • some exposure to procurement, purchasing or supply chain (ordering, generating Purchase orders, liaising with buyers, suppliers etc)
  • Experience of modern IT systems such as Microsoft office, outlook etc
  • Experience in using a computer based ordering, inventory, or database system (any will be considered e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, other ERP or MRP systems or inhouse database systems will be considered)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skulls
  • Able to develop good internal and external relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast paced procurement office
  • Able to work under pressure and achieve deadlines
  • Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards all types of work (a positive "can do" attitude)
