Quality Technician
Romsey
Site & Office Based Full-time
9am-5pm Monday-Friday (36.25 hour week)
£25,000 - £27,000 + holiday & free parking
Techniche Global are working with a large manufacturing organisation in Southampton who are seeking to expand their exisiting Quality department.
The vacancy is to join the team at a technician level, with responsibilities based around the documenting & validation of manufacturing & production equipment.
This role would suit candidates that have had experience in a Quality position within manufacturing, engineering or production.
Experience Required:
- 2 years experience in a Quality role
- Experience of conducting and completing validation, reports or audits
- Knowledge of ISO standards
- Experience of using an ERP or MRP system (company database such as SAP, Oracle, Micsrofot Dynamics or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of writing extensive reports to a high level of quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work on own initiative and with various different teams across a manufacturing business
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of documenting equipment used for Manufacturing or Production processes
- Knowledge of ISO 13485:2016
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Dynamics AX
Main Duties:
- Validate / re-validate (Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification and Performance Qualification) existing and new Production Machinery and Injection Molding Machinery.
- Leading the validation, risk analysis and re-validation of D365 Modules from monthly updates using RSAT.
- Completing Validation Report.
- Provide Quality support to R&D with the validation / verification / design transfer into Production.
- Lead for Production Acceptance at Design Transfer.
- Analysing operational issues.
- Analysing quality metrics.
- Providing technical support and training.
- Supporting the Quality Management System.
